Passages

Yea though I be a child
in the ways of the Lord Christ,
better this than a wise elder
in the ways of fallen men.
For a child in Christ
shall grow for the eternity.
But the elders of men
shall fail to mortality.

Yea though my eyes see darkly
into the realm of the hallowed Kingdom,
more have I seen in a day
than men’s devices have shown of the cosmos in an eon.
For a glimpse of the Kingdom is eternal,
but the science of the cosmos is passing.

Yea though daily I fail
in my war with the lusts of the flesh,
gone is the condemnation
that came with my sin.
For great is the gift
of my Savior’s salvation
And shattered are the chains
of unsaved condemnation.
