The Lamb's Exaltation

The Lamb’s Exaltation

Yea do our souls magnify the Lord,
to rejoice in our Savior and King,
for by his strong arm have all men been restored
whence done unto us a holiest thing.

For He hath regarded our lowly estate,
hath raised us on high,
from our tormented fate,
that none be condemned,
that none be distressed,
that all generations may ever be blest.
He hath shown strength in His mighty arm,
and protected the weak
from the coming of harm.

He which is mighty hath made mighty salvation,
for we which trod blindly
to a lost condemnation.
He shall fill up the hungry to make them as kings,
and empty the wealthy
of their gold and their rings.

He shall raise up the lowly to their greatest hour.
He shall pull down the mighty
from the thrones of their power.
And the proud shall be scattered throughout each generation,
that the meek then be gathered
for the Lamb’s exaltation.

Abandoning Ur (Fourth Age)

Abandoning Ur
(Fourth Age)

From deep within your pagan heart,
my sacred call is heard,
to stand apart,
with all your kin in answer to my Word.
For yours shall be a holy seed,
peculiar in their creed,
who by their faith in God unseen
transcend their carnal need.

Sanctified in Spirit shall your people always be,
gifted through my oracles with Holy destiny.
Your kin shall bear the sacral light
by which the gentiles see
the distant, holy mountaintop
whereat they flock to Me.

In ages dark, apostasies
shall blind you to my ways,
whence prophesied captivities
bring evil to your days.
In ages light shall nations see
your weakness turn to might,
whence as your sons return to Me,
I save them from their plight.

So shall your kindred serve my name,
though cursed or blessed ye be.
Through favored grace or fallen shame
shall you lead men to Me.
Walk before Me perfect then
that all the world may see
the path of faith for fallen men
by which I set them free.

Sepulchers

Sepulchers

Darkness flees it's evil gloom,
perceiving not the light,
which as a seed in barren womb
brings holy life to dusty tomb.

Death retreats the flesh of men
as darkness flees the light
whence Word of God gives life within,
that hearts decayed be born again.

Grace pervades the putrid air
of whitened sepulchers
whence sin be damned to hellish lair
as men be knelt in humble prayer.
